Who We Are
TriangleFootDesigns is the creative collaboration between Nicholas and Jessica Roslan. Originally launched as a way to collect and curate our favorite pieces. While our careers and family keep us very busy we aspire to do and share more of our fun and functional works of art. From rustic hand-turned bowls and candle holders to whimsical hand-painted birdhouses, the treasures we create are truly one of a kind. You never know what little creative something might pop up when we can get a few moments to ourselves to be artistic.
What's in a name?
We often get asked "why Triangle Foot?" When our beloved Lab-mix dog Krypto was in his awkward juvenile stage he had huge paws and was very angular. I doodled him all in triangles and we nicknamed him "Triangle Foot". When Nicholas started getting into woodturning a few years later, we tossed around what to call his shop. As with most of our projects is all-in or nothing. We knew we would need a name if he were to ever get serious about sharing his work. We came up with Triangle Foot Designs as a nod to our very bestest boy. As soon as we started considering launching our website to share our work it just felt right to go with what we had picked so many years ago and so it is. Krypto has been a fixture in our family for over 13 years and while the sun is starting to set on his lifetime his legacy will live on with our work.
